Climate Land Use Alliance - Forests, People, Climate 2023 Annual Report

Communities and movements closest to the urgent impacts of global warming, tropical forest loss, and exploitation are critical to developing the most impactful solutions to the climate crisis. Forests, People, Climate (FPC) plays a catalytic role in fostering equitable support to these groups by mobilizing funding toward high-impact activities that can reach scale globally.

FPC is a collaborative of philanthropic donors, civil society, and community-based organizations that together seek to halt and reverse tropical deforestation while supporting just, sustainable development.

As lead designer of the 2023 Progress Report, I collaborated with their team to highlight the successes of the initiative utilizing visual storytelling that amplified three geographic regions. We focused on visuals, photography and testimonials to provide a comprehensive look at equitable and enduring solutions safeguarding tropical forests as well as supporting those stewarding them, in particular Indigenous Peoples, Local Communities and Afro-descendants in tropical forest countries.
